Located at 525 Notre Dame Drive in Kamloops' Lower Sahali neighbourhood, this four-storey mixed-use development introduces 28 residential units above street-oriented commercial space within an established shopping and service district. Responding to a challenging triangular site and significant grade changes, the building features a simple, contemporary form with a recessed commercial base that creates a sheltered pedestrian frontage. Contrasting dark materials at grade with lighter corrugated metal cladding above, the design uses subtle variations in texture, balconies, and glazing to create depth and rhythm across the façades. A shared rooftop amenity terrace offers views across the city, while the development contributes to a more connected, walkable neighbourhood that brings housing, commerce, and everyday amenities together.
